This card provides two serial ports for data communication to other DTE units, including upstream hosts (master stations, submasters, etc.) and downstream slave devices (protective relays, flow meters, reclosers, IOC/RTUs, etc.).
One or more of these cards can be installed in a computer with standard 16bit ISA expansion slots. Each port is individually configurable for either asynchronous or synchronous operation.
