This COMMANDER I/O function card interfaces 2 channels of high frequency signals to a companion Base/Expansion cardfile assembly..

The database organization of the inputs is a function of the Base assembly firmware and/or the connected host computer. The inputs available on each I/O card can provide for one of the following:

two independent form "A" counters
one form "C" counter
one "quadrature" counter (up/down counter)

Input isolation: 5000V (optical coupler)
Input signal must sink 5-10mA
from 12-24VDC source. Signals > 24V require external scaling resistor.
Debounce fixed at 0.15ms
Terminal types: Removable terminal or IDC (ribbon cable) header as specified
