These small devices connect to high impedance sensors, including RTDs and Thermocouples, and convert their low-level output signal into a 0-20mA current for connection to conventional analog input circuits as shown below.
These units are powered from "loop" power, typically a 24V "Instrument" power supply. Transmitters include zero and span adjustment potentiometers for in-field calibration with sensor.
Contact representative. Specify type of sensor, sensor wire count (RTD), junction type (TC), and operational temperature range of sensor (for factory range setting).
Used in small to large enclosures in cold climates to prevent inside temperature from dropping out of equipment operation range, and to minimize condensation upon enclosure opening. Typically powered from 120VAC-240VAC mains power. Contact representative for thermostat selection.
DIN MOUNTING RAIL
This assembly is a DIN mounting rail for securing compatible accessories to EIA (19") rack mount frames.
The rail design follows the standard DIN "symmetrical" 35mm (outside), 25mm (inside) specifications. The rail requires only 1U (1.75") of panel space; however, inter-rack spacing depends on mounted devices. This rail is suitable for grounding purposes (see table of permissible currents).
This rail supports DIN-mounted devices, including Europeanstyle terminal blocks, fuse/terminal blocks, relays, circuit breakers, timers, and control equipment.

This assembly is a cable raceway, for arranging and securing unit wiring, in EIA (19") rack mount frames.
The wireduct assembly requires 1U (1.75") in panel space, and can be provided flat or recessed (to allow cable entry from the opposite panel side).

UNIVERSAL TERMINATION PANEL
This assembly is a marshaling panel used to terminate and condition the IOC/RTU signals at a location separated from the unit cardfiles.
The signal groups are connected to their respective I/O card via 16conductor ribbon cable. This assembly is highly recommended when the input signals are hazardous in nature (>48V), as a series of soldering pads are provided on a per-point basis, in order to condition the input signal to the levels required by the respective I/O card. This assembly allows the use of crimped wirelugs, whereas the removable termination connector used on the standard I/O card does not. Captive washers are available, shipped separately, if "lugless" wiring hookup is desired for this assembly.
The IDC-type I/O cards must be specified when ordering when this panel is to be implemented. This assembly has 16 terminals per grouping (column). Each column supports 8 datapoints of the DI, DO, and AI type I/O cards or 4 datapoints of the AO type I/O card. For example, every 16 point DI card will require two terminal columns for the field wiring.

This assembly is a Termination Panel used to supply a common wetting voltage for status signals (look at picture).
This panel is typically powered from a separate ("instrument") power supply, to prevent against control unit power interruption should a fault occur. The panel's power input terminals allow the field distribution of either (+) or (-) wetting voltage, and is fused against short circuits. This optional assembly is generally implemented when the field devices being monitored have a suitable dry contact available; although, a suitable operating voltage is not present (ie 120VAC) for the IOC/RTU indication signal (for activating the respective DI card input).
